Terms of use
The service
MeasuredCost publishes cost guides and calculators that estimate typical prices for home projects in the United States. The site is operated by MeasuredCost ("we").
Estimates, not quotes
Our numbers are estimates based on published data and statistical models. They are not offers, quotes or professional advice. Actual prices depend on your home, materials, permits, site conditions and the contractor. Get written quotes from licensed contractors before you hire, and check permit and code requirements with your local building department.
No liability for decisions
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on our estimates or for work performed by any contractor.
Content
Text, data tables and calculators on this site are owned by the operator of MeasuredCost. You may quote short parts with a link to the source page. Do not copy whole pages or datasets without permission.
